Cherie A. Binger received both her Bachelor of Science in Advertising/Marketing and her Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee in her hometown of Knoxville. While attending UT Law School, she served as Assistant Editor of the Tennessee Law Review, a contributing author of the Tennessee Judicial Newsletter and on the Faculty Hiring Committee.
Cherie began her legal career in DC more than twenty years ago as a trial attorney at the Federal Trade Commission where she prosecuted numerous high profile cases in both Federal Court and administrative proceedings. Upon leaving FTC, Cherie went into private practice with the prestigious law firm of Bryan Cave and also became a Hearing Officer for the University of Maryland. In her free time, she volunteered at the DC Legal Clinic for the Homeless.
Since moving to Florida in 1995, Cherie has continued to focus on general civil and commercial litigation. When she is not practicing law, she enjoys working as a board member of the Sarasota Season of Sculpture. Cherie is currently licensed to practice in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Florida.
